Fancy Shell Stripe

This lace pattern from The Art of Knitting 1897 looks complicated but is actually very simple to knit. It does have a 14-row repeat which is impossible to remember (at least for me), but simple to follow.
The original pattern was written in the round for a sock. I thought it would make a nice scarf and changed it to a flat pattern. You can find the pattern and chart on my website.
