Hi Cindy! I was knitting an afghan out of some yard sale acrylic, just for warmth in our drafty old house, and decided to use the Fancy Shell stripe, which is really easy to follow (I've knitted for years but not a lot of lace).

The new design looks like a great choice for a shawl.

This one is really pretty Cindy. I'm wondering what the sides and bottom edges look like, are they wavy? I wonder if they can be controlled with a narrow border or might it need a wider one?
